This is a powerful show for me because I love animals so much and I have been blessed with a life changing close encounter with wild whales. Documentary director extraordinaire William Neal joins me for a deeply moving exchange about his new film, Long Gone Wild. This movie is a must see and I would encourage you to get involved with the efforts to make a change. Bill and I also talk about other issues too that impact all of us on this beautiful planet.
The film is available now available across all VOD/Digital/DVD platforms, internationally as well.
Prior to bringing his feature documentary, Long Gone Wild, to life, Bill amassed a long list of television credits as a writer, producer, and director in L.A.
As Executive Producer of the Emmy-nominated bio-doc series E! True Hollywood Story, he developed more than 130 episodes and won numerous industry awards. Other credits include Unsolved Mysteries for Lifetime Network; the Jerry Bruckheimer production of Profiles from the Frontline for ABC; Rise & Fall of the Spartans and Jurassic Fight Club for History Channel; North Mission Road and LA Forensics for Investigation Discovery; and The Unexplained for A&E.
Bill is a former college and professional hockey coach and worked for several years as a color commentator with ESPN. He earned an Ed.D. degree from Western Michigan University where he was inducted into the hockey program’s Ring of Honor. Bill was similarly inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in his hometown of Sarnia, Ontario. He is a published author of three books – Rogue Justice (about a super species of killer whales), Bo the Rascal Cat: A Most Excellent Adventure, and Lolita: The World’s Loneliest Orca. Bill is a member of the WGA and an avid skier. He lives in Park City, Utah with his two rescue cats.

Not sure I can watch the movie, my heart can’t take watching any kind of abuse to our animals – but I did just post about the movie and the link to the documentary on my FB page. Great interview and hopefully many people will take action to continue to educate people and especially young children. The Russia China thing I had not heard about. THANK YOU both for taking the time to share this information with us.
