What a joy to connect with the Joyful Guru himself, the beloved Swami Sadashiva Tirtha (find him on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!).  Down to earth, open and wise I learned a lot on this one.  His books are enlightening and open the heart, as does his easy laugh.  Tune in and take a wonderful deep dive with the two of us.

A special thanks to my dear friend and Angel on Earth Robert Clancy for bringing the two of us together in great Light.

As Swamiji likes to say, “JOY, JOY, JOY!”

For over 4 decades Swamiji has been bridging the the science-spirit worlds by teaching meditation & yoga; offering shamanic energy healing, and psychic mediumship. As the world picks up its pace, Swamiji is there, adapting these methods to meet the needs of the time.

Swamiji has spoken at the White House Commission on Complementary & Alternative Medicine, John Hopkins University, and international medical colleges.

His Ayurveda Encyclopedia was a #1 Amazon bestseller and remained on the top 10 list for several years. Now there are more than 30,000 copies in print.

Swamiji has created a beginner meditation (with advanced results) to help everyone easily meditate and experience profound results in 60 seconds or less.

He also offers group Mediumship.

Swamiji is a natural-born psychic medium, shaman, and healer. He is a certified Advanced Psychic Medium through Lisa Williams ISSD school. He also studied with top mediums from Lily Dale (USA) and Arthur Findlay College (UK) to deepen his gifts. Teachers included James Van Praagh, Tony Stockwell, Janet Nohavec, and Sharon Klingler. Swamiji also studied Trance Mediumship with Tony Stockwell.

At his students’ requests, he wrote a modern-day commentary for India’s key spiritual text, Bhagavad Gita for Modern Times.

On a mission to create stress-free colleges and companies Swamiji wrote, the Stress-Free College Student (2014). Bryant University listed this book alongside their “50 Books that Changed the World.”

Swamiji’s latest book addresses the new “Celebration Era” we are in (since 12/21/12), 21 Days of Joy. Just as the relaxation yoga pose, the corpse — just lying on your back doing nothing — is said to be the most difficult to master, so too allowing ourselves to see, and participate in joyous, celebratory activities is the most difficult way to live life. This book aims to help us break through our limiting beliefs to see this is a time in our culture to celebrate.

Swamiji began teaching yoga and meditation in 1976 and later was recognized as a monk (swami) in India in 1990. Swamiji was certified in Ayurveda, Vedic astrology, and Vastu Shastra (India’s Feng Shui). Swamiji has had his own internet radio and TV shows in the past.

A pioneer in Ayurveda USA, he founded one of the first certification schools, herbal companies, and ayurveda centers. Swamiji’s second book, The Bhagavad Gita for Modern Times, is a unique commentary using real-life examples to explain Krishna’s timeless wisdom.

In 2009 Swamiji visited Ecuador’s Amazon rainforest where shamans there recognized him as a natural born shaman and healer. Since then Swamiji has been developing ‘instant healing’ to keep up with the ever-quickening pace of life and it’s challenges.
