An inspiring conversation with author Myra Goodman on her award winning masterpiece, Quest for Eternal Sunshine: A Holocaust Survivor’s Journey from Darkness to Light. We talk about the amazing life of her father, Mendek Rubin, and the spiritual truths he discovered years after surviving his time in a German concentration camp. Myra also talks about founding the organic vegetable powerhouse, Earthbound Farm.

Myra Goodman is the co-author of the award-winning spiritual memoir, Quest for Eternal Sunshine—A Holocaust Survivor’s Journey from Darkness to Light, a posthumous collaboration with her father, Mendek Rubin. Inspired by the desire to share her father’s remarkable legacy with the world, Myra has created an online platform dedicated to providing free resources for wisdom, healing, and self-discovery—QuestForEternalSunshine.com. She writes a weekly blog, sponsors events that promote healing, and is a regular contributor to Spirituality & Health magazine.

Myra and her husband, Drew, founded Earthbound Farm in their backyard garden in 1984. They were the first people successfully market pre-washed salads for retail sale, and Earthbound Farm quickly grew to become the largest grower of organic produce in the world. A passionate and vocal advocate of organic food and farming, Myra has authored three cookbooks, shared her messages on top national television shows and in hundreds of publications, and in a TEDx Manhattan talk. The Goodmans have won numerous awards for their role in bringing the benefits of organic food to the mainstream, and their biography is featured in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
