To celebrate the 4th of July, here is a deep dive into our war of independence with the legendary historian John E. Ferling. We talk about his epic new book, Winning Independence and how close we came to losing to England. John and I also talk about the current debates around our heritage including many of the dark chapters in our ongoing evolution.
